On Thursday, a Nyeri court declared a strike by over 750 medics in Kirinyaga County as illegal, allowing the county government to take disciplinary action against them.
The Employment and Labour Relations Court Justice Nzioki wa Makau made the ruling after an application by the Kirinyaga County Government against the medics over the strike that has paralyzed health services in the county.
