Kenyan football fans have something to cheer about as Harambee Stars have received a significant financial boost ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Mali on Sunday evening in Nairobi.
The Sh3mn boost comes courtesy of MozzartBet, a betting firm that has been unveiled as the motivational partner of the national team for the next three matches.
This partnership marks a significant development in Kenyan football, with MozzartBet replacing OdiBets as the team's sponsor.
According to MozzartBet General Manager Saša Krneta, the company believes in supporting Kenyan football and is confident that their support will help the team achieve good results.
"We believe in supporting Kenyan football. We have been working at grass root level but we have always wanted to work with the national team and this is our time. We believe that our support will help the team to get good results," said Krneta.
FKF President Nick Mwendwa expressed his gratitude to MozzartBet for their support, stating that it will motivate the players to give their all in the remaining matches.
"Thank you for believing in Kenyan football, and for believing in the Harambee Stars. Mozzart started their support even before the game against Mali in Morocco and through their help we were able to comfortably take the team there. We look forward to a great partnership," Mwendwa said.
With the Sh3mn boost, Harambee Stars are now better equipped to face their opponents in the remaining matches, including the away trip to Uganda and the Rwanda home tie.
