Kabarak University Appoints Retired CJ Willy Mutunga as Professor of Public Law

On October 9, 2021, Kabarak University made a significant appointment in the academic world by naming former Chief Justice Dr Willy Mutunga as the Professor of Public Law at the institution.

Dr Mutunga, a renowned scholar of international repute and a reform activist, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as Chief Justice from 2011 to 2016 and later as the Commonwealth Special Envoy to the Maldives.

Established in 2010, Kabarak Law School is emerging as one of the research-intensive law schools in Kenya and Africa, with a strong reputation for publishing internationally recognized reviewed journals.

Dr Mutunga's appointment is a testament to the university's commitment to academic excellence and its desire to attract distinguished scholars who can contribute to the growth and development of the institution.
