Published on October 6, 2021, Samidoh, a renowned Mugithi artist, has been a household name in Kenya for most of 2021.

His tumultuous relationship with politician Karen Nyamu has been a major topic of discussion, with his first wife making occasional appearances in the media.

One of the most talked-about stories was Samidoh's admission of fathering a child with Karen, despite being married elsewhere.

However, the latest news surrounding Samidoh is that he has suffered a leg injury during a performance in Mwea.

According to his manager, the injury occurred when fans pushed him backwards during a stampede to take selfies with him, causing him to sprain his leg on a steep stone path.

Despite the injury, Samidoh has continued to perform while seated, showcasing his dedication to his music and fans.

"I may not be able to run, but I can still play guitar and perform. My fans want my voice, not my legs," Samidoh said in an interview.

Samidoh's US tour is scheduled to take place next month, but his manager remains optimistic that he will still make it for the tour as planned.

"He injured his leg, but he didn't injure his voice or hand," the manager explained.

Samidoh still has over 10 shows this month, which he will honour before travelling abroad.
