Published on October 5, 2021, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has opened up about her marriage to lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo, saying it's the secret to her happiness.
Waiguru, 50, tied the knot with the prominent lawyer in an exclusive wedding attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga in 2019.
“Marriage is sweet,” she told NTV, attributing her happiness to her union with Waiganjo.
Waiguru also revealed that her husband has a laid-back approach, which she appreciates, saying, “He does his work as the first gentleman (of the county). But he is not as vocal.”
Before meeting Waiganjo, Waiguru was married to Tony Njuguna and is a mother of three boys.
