On October 5, 2021, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann, and Giorgio Parisi for their groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of complex physical systems.

Their work has significantly improved our ability to predict global warming and understand complex phenomena in the universe.

Meanwhile, in 2020, the physics prize went to Roger Penrose, Reinhard Genzel, and Andrea Ghez for their discoveries that have improved our understanding of the universe, including work on black holes.
