Greg Snow, a Muthaiga player, has taken the lead in the second leg of the 2021/22 Safari Tour Golf Series at Vet Lab Sports Club in Kabete, after firing a two-under-par 70.

On the first day, Snow played two over par, but he successfully made the cut on a level par after the total two rounds of golf.

According to Snow, the game was much better on the second day, and he managed to hit a lot more greens.

He birdied in holes 2, 5, and 7 in the front nine and in hole 12 in the back nine.

However, Snow noted that the greens were slow due to the heavy overnight rains.

Ahead of the next two rounds, Snow says his game plan will remain the same, targeting to take it as long as he can and being more aggressive.

He missed the opening leg in Sigona last week due to a shoulder injury, but he is now feeling much better and working out to ease the pain.

Two Zimbabweans, Robson Chinhoi and Tafara Mpofu, finished on one over par apiece after the two rounds, following Snow in that order.

Meanwhile, in the Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Miss, Sam Burns shot a final-round 5-under 67 to emerge from the pack and win the tournament, reports Reuters.
