On October 3, 2021, Gukena FM radio presenter Njoki Wa Mburu reached out to her colleague Auntie Jemimah, who had recently lost her baby at 34 weeks of pregnancy.

Auntie Jemimah had announced the birth of her baby, but unfortunately, the baby passed away.

Njoki Wa Mburu, who had gone through a similar experience, expressed her words of encouragement to Auntie Jemimah, urging her to mourn her daughter as a way of starting the healing process.

"My dear, I totally feel you! I have been there, I know what it feels like... a mother's love to a baby sprouts on the very fast second of conception," Njoki Wa Mburu said.

She also pledged to support Auntie Jemimah by lifting her in prayers and encouraging her to accept what had happened and refuse to get traumatized.

Other media presenters who sent condolence messages to Auntie Jemimah include Gukena FM drive Co-host Wagura Wa Githui, MC Kajim, Keziah Wa Kariuki, Muthoni Wa Kirumba, Muthoni Mukiri, and Njoroge Wa Githinji.
