On October 8, 2021, the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) will host a two-day hybrid investment conference in Mombasa, Kenya, to discuss strategies for investments in the new normal.

The conference, which will combine virtual and physical sessions, aims to bring together business leaders from the financial services industry to explore opportunities in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to ICIFA Chief Executive Officer, Diana Muriuki-Maina, the conference will officially be opened by Cabinet Secretary National Treasury and Planning, Ukur Yattani.

During the conference, captains of industry will discuss various themes around doing business in Africa, including public investment strategies to spur GDP growth, and the impact of Covid-19 on the Kenyan financial markets.

“The conference is the platform for delegates to interact directly and virtually with regulators, partners, government representatives, and potential clients as they share the opportunities and challenges faced when investing in Kenya and Africa at large,” Muriuki-Maina said.
