Published on October 2, 2021, Duma Team, previously known as Decko Racing, is putting the final touches on its preparations for the KCB Nanyuki Autocross 7 at Batian View.
Defending Bambino Class champion Yuvraj Rajput, also known as Yuvi, is looking to regain his winning ways after losing to Karanveer Singh Rooprai in round six at Jamhuri Park.
Yuvi's Magi-Bug suffered engine gremlins in the sixth race, prompting team mechanics to rebuild the engine and gearbox.
“I'm looking forward to a powerful buggy, and indeed a first place finish for Nanyuki race,” said Yuvraj.
Yuvi's father, Kirit Rajput, will be competing in the Open Class with his Subaru GC8, which underwent repairs after a fire in Mombasa.
Yuvraj's sister, Kiana Rajput, will also be participating in the Pee Wee class against Eric Bengi's kid driver, Eann Bengi.
Team Manager Wayne Fernandes will be back on the Quad bike, competing against leader Gurraj Singh.
“I'm looking forward to a muddy wet track. All vehicles will be sporting new Duma Rally Team livery, so we are all very excited going into Nanyuki Autocross,” said Fernandes.
Lovejyot Singh will be running two classes in the event, including the 2WD Turbo Class, where he is one point behind Shaz Esmail.
