On October 1, 2021, Voice of America (VOA) featured the Kenya Airlift Program in their Africa 54 Technology Segment News, highlighting the program's progress and impact on Kenyans seeking study and work opportunities in the US.
VOA's interest in the program is not new, as they had previously invited the Programs Director, Bob Mwiti, to their headquarters in Washington, D.C. for an interview two years prior.
Through a recent zoom meeting, Bob Mwiti engaged with VOA about the program's strides, which have brought hope to thousands of Kenyans.
Bob Mwiti is a former international student in the US and a senior IT consultant with expertise in Oracle EBS Financials and Robotics Process Automation (RPA). He is also the Programs Director of Appstec America, a consulting company based in Tampa, Florida, US.
