Comedian Eric Omondi has made headlines with the unveiling of his luxurious 7-bedroom mansion in Karen, a project he began 14 years ago.

According to Omondi, the mansion, which he proudly calls his own, cost him a staggering Sh. 141 million. The comedian broke down the costs, stating that the house itself cost Sh. 72 million, while the land on which it stands was valued at Sh. 69 million.

Notably, Omondi has been one of the highest-paid comedians in Kenya, with a reputation for flaunting his wealth. In July 2021, he showed off Sh. 3 million in cash, which he claimed was a response to criticism from Ezekiel Mutua, the former CEO of the Kenya Films and Classification Board.

Speaking about his new mansion, Omondi emphasized the value of hard work and talent, saying, 'This house cost me Sh. 72 million and it is a culmination of my hard work in 14 years of comedy.'
