Harambee Stars touched down in the country on July 4th morning, but their return was marked by controversy as their French coach, Paul Migne, was noticeably absent.

According to reports, Migne's decision not to travel with the team has raised eyebrows, with many speculating that he is ashamed of the team's performance in the Afcon tournament.

Kenya's hopes of advancing to the round of 16 were dashed after Benin's draw against Cameroon, leaving the team with no chance of qualifying.

Other players who did not travel back with the team include Japan-based forward Michael Olunga and China-based winger Ayub Timbe, who are both heading back to their respective clubs.

As the team returns home, fans are left wondering whether Migne will face the axe for his role in the team's disappointing performance.
