On September 28, 2021, vivo made its latest device, the Y21 smartphone, available in the Kenyan market.
The Y21 is part of vivo's budget-friendly Y-series lineup, which has seen several releases over the past year.
The device boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, 4GB memory, and a choice of either 64 or 128 gigabytes of onboard storage.
For photography, the Y21 features a pair of 13 and 2-megapixel snappers at the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The device runs on Android 11, hidden under vivo's Funtouch OS overlay.
As with other vivo smartphones, the Y21 comes with the brand's proprietary fast charging technology, which can charge the device from 0% to 34% in just 30 minutes.
The vivo Y21 is priced at Kshs 17,000 and is currently available with a 'buy one get one free' offer on Jumia Kenya.
