Kenyan Business Feed has learned that Ezra Chiloba, a seasoned policy consultant and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, has been appointed Director-General of the Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK) for a term of four years.
According to a statement issued on September 28, 2021, the appointment takes effect immediately, following a competitive recruitment process to fill the position left vacant with the retirement of the former Director General, Francis Wangusi.
Mr. Chiloba, a Principle Partner with Chimp and Kemp consultancy, holds an impressive academic record, having graduated with an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Nairobi, a Master of Arts degree from Central European University in Hungary, and a Master of Science degree in Program Management from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
He has also studied a Blockchain strategy program at Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
Chiloba's appointment has been welcomed by the Communication Authority of Kenya, and he is expected to bring his wealth of experience to the role.
