Constable Rueben Kimutai Lel, a police officer declared a deserter, has resurfaced after being comatose at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for over nine months.
According to reports, a warrant of arrest was issued in January at the Makadara Law Courts, but Lel's family and friends were unaware of his condition.
It is unclear how Lel ended up at KNH or how long he had been there before being discovered.
