TV news anchor Purity Museo has found herself in a disturbing situation with a fan who has taken his admiration for her too far.

According to Museo, the fan has been stalking her since 2020, creating social media accounts with both their names and posting her photos on his room walls.

She shared pictures of the man on her social media account on September 22, 2021, revealing that he had even created a Twitter account with her name and was tagging her co-anchors and KBC.

“There was a time he created an account that had both our names. When I warned him that I would report him is when he immediately changed the name,” Museo said.

“So yesterday (Tuesday, September 21), he took my photos and tagged my co-anchors and KBC. One of the handles for Radio Taifa tagged me and that is when I realised that this has become too much,” she added.

Museo has tried to block the man, but he keeps creating new accounts and tagging her in posts, leaving her feeling scared and concerned for her safety.

She has reported the matter to the DCI and Twitter, seeking help to stop the fan's unwanted behavior.

“Fellow Kenyans. I need help to stop this man! He has my photos in his room and when I block him he creates new accounts and tags me in these posts. I don’t know him. I have warned him severally in vain. I don’t find this normal. His new account is @FreeGerman2 @DCI_Kenya,” she tweeted.
