On September 30th, 2020, a complex web of deceit began to unravel in Nairobi's Central Business District. Abdirazack Ali Hassan, a resident of the city, allegedly obtained Sh 2.5 million from Mohamedamin Abdullahi Hassan of Broitta International Limited by making false promises.

According to the charges, Abdirazack Ali Hassan claimed he could supply Mohamedamin Abdullahi Hassan with 20 HP laptops and 14 HP laserjet printers, all valued at Sh 2.5 million. However, it appears that these promises were nothing more than a ruse to defraud the businessman.

Abdirazack Ali Hassan was charged before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi and denied the allegations. He was released on a Sh 500,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh 200,000.

The case will be mentioned on October 5th, 2021, for further directions.
