On September 21, 2021, OLA Energy Kenya unveiled the OLA GO App, a customer reward scheme that will see customers earn millions of shillings in redeemable points for every fuel, lubricant, or LPG purchase at any OLA Energy service station across the country.

Speaking during the launch, OLA Energy Chief Operating Officer Maurizio Libutti said the OLA GO loyalty initiative is part of the company's broader digital strategy, driven by the rise in mobile money shopping. Customers will receive points at every purchase, which will lead to an upgraded OLA membership tier and opportunities to receive awards.

“OLA GO App is available from the Play Store or App Store. It has a live chat feature that connects you to our WhatsApp contact number to enhance our 24-hour customer support. You will start earning GO points as soon as you download the App. The registration of the OLA GO program is available at any OLA station countrywide,” said Libutti.

OLA Energy Kenya General Manager Millicent Onyonyi said the company's retail footprint now stands at 109 across the country and is keen on fostering African-born prosperity through its partnerships with dealers in the retail network.

The OLA GO App comes after the introduction of secure and real-time O'Card, used to fuel a vehicle or fleet and purchase other products conveniently. With the current robust growth, Onyonyi added that the service station will also comprise a family-oriented versatile backcourt boasting of premium service centres, food courts, bank ATMs, chemists, and laundromat, offering unmatched convenience to customers.

OLA Energy also launched a second branch in Gitaru, Kikuyu, bringing proximity to customers in a strategic location adjacent to Yaya Centre and Kikuyu respectively. The launch saw customers enjoy 'happy hour' with OLA Energy rewarding them with bonus fuel worth Ksh. 1,000 for every purchase of fuel worth Ksh. 2,000 at both Kilimani and Gitaru service stations.
