On July 4, 2019, Nairobi's All Saints Cathedral Church will host a memorial service for the late Safaricom CEO, Bob Collymore.
The ceremony will begin at 9:00 am, with the cathedral opening its doors to guests, who are expected to be seated by 10:30 am.
Jeff Koinange, a family friend of the late Collymore, will serve as the Master of Ceremony, while Joshua Oigara, CEO of Kenya Commercial Bank, will deliver the eulogy.
Michael Joseph, the interim Safaricom CEO, will read a poem and tribute to Bob Collymore.
The order of service includes a range of tributes from friends, family, and colleagues, including Ashley Chepkorir, a student at the M-PESA Foundation Academy, and Nick Read, CEO of Vodafone Group.
The ceremony will also feature music by the Safaricom Youth Orchestra and Ghetto Classics, as well as readings from the Bible and a video tribute.
Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to deliver an address, and the ceremony will conclude with final prayers and a benediction.
