On July 4, 2019, DJ Mo finally addressed the rumors surrounding Pierra Makena's daughter, saying he can never deny his blood, but she is not his child.
The rumors started when fans noticed a resemblance between DJ Mo's daughter with gospel singer Size 8 and Pierra Makena's daughter.
When asked about the rumors, DJ Mo told Word Is, 'When people are young they look alike. I can never deny my blood and if she was my child, I would never deny that but unfortunately, she is not my child.'
He added that the two children could be looking alike because their parents are in the same profession, saying, 'They are all DJ babies.'
Despite the rumors, DJ Mo clarified that he loves his wife Size 8 and doesn't listen to everything people say about him.
He also addressed the rumors about him and his TV partner Grace Ekirapa, saying, 'Grace is a good friend of mine and we work together. I always clap for those who claim we match and actually laugh about it because we know it is just our chemistry that is good.'
As a media personality, DJ Mo says he loves the comments but they don't get to him because he has never cheated on his wife.
He added, 'If there is anyone I have ever cheated on with, let them come and say that I have cheated with them. Rumours are good because they help us grow in the industry.'
Size 8 also weighed in on the matter, saying she has been friends with Pierra since high school and as celebrities, they expect more of such negative things about them.
She added, 'We laughed about it and so don’t believe about everything you see on social media.'
On the same day, DJ Mo and Size 8 launched their new business ventures, Friends Car-wash, Beauty parlour and a barber shop in Kilimani at Dennis Pritt road opposite St Georges girls high school.
According to DJ Mo, it has taken him and his wife six months to work on this and they thank God finally it’s open.
He added that he loves dealing with cars, saying, 'I have been frustrated the many times I have taken my cars to a car wash because of bad services, the parlour and barber is for Size 8 who is known to love everything about beauty.'
