Wambui Kamiru Collymore, the wife of late Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, has sent out a special request to those attending his memorial service at the All Saints Cathedral.
Speaking on Jeff Koinange's JKLive show, Wambui requested that people do not wear black clothes, as they will not be mourning her husband.
Instead, she said they will be celebrating his life.
"Jeff, tell people not to wear black, wear colourful stuff because we are not mourning Bob, we are celebrating him," she said.
Wambui made this request shortly after speaking publicly for the first time since her husband's death.
On Wednesday, she took to Twitter to express her gratitude for the love and support she had received during this difficult time.
"I am overwhelmed by all the love and beautiful messages I have been receiving from you all here. It is a true testament to the character of the special man I was lucky to love," she wrote.
