On September 17, 2021, Karen Nyamu, a lawyer turned politician, shared a personal story about her pregnancy with Mugithi star Samidoh. In an interview with Jeff Kuria, Nyamu revealed that she discovered she was pregnant with Samidoh's child after taking a home pregnancy test.
According to Nyamu, she was initially stressed for two months after discovering the pregnancy, citing the timing and the age of her first child, who was just 10 months old at the time.
Despite the challenges, Nyamu accepted the pregnancy and has since spoken about her love and respect for Samidoh's family, including his wife Edday. In a statement, Nyamu said, "People do not understand that when you love someone you would not want to ruin him and what is important to him."
Nyamu also revealed that she prays for Samidoh, Edday, and their children together, demonstrating her commitment to co-parenting and maintaining a positive relationship with Samidoh's family.
When asked about the rumors that she was trying to replace Edday, Nyamu categorically denied the claims, stating that she had no intentions of doing so. She also shared that she and Samidoh record videos together for memories, further highlighting their amicable relationship.
As Nyamu prepares to welcome her third child, she has sent a message of love and support to Edday, telling her fans to stop envying her and instead celebrate Edday's greatness.
