Love can strike in the most unexpected ways, and for one couple, it was a chance encounter between a tour guide and a tourist that led to a beautiful wedding six years later.
Twitter user @peratov shared the story of how he met his bride, who was a tourist he guided six years ago, and expressed his gratitude to Mageda, who he credited with bringing them together.
"I volunteered to be a tour guide for a day. Six years later, the tourist becomes my life partner. Thank you Mageda," he wrote in a caption accompanying the photos of his wedding day.
His post sparked a flurry of congratulatory messages from Twitter users, who also joked about changing careers to become tour guides.
As of the time of writing, his post had garnered close to 6000 likes, over 1200 retweets, and 111 comments.

Bayo sent a love note to the woman on her birthday, but it took her a while to respond. Despite the delay, the couple eventually got together and are still going strong years later.
