Published on September 14, 2021, Google has been continuously updating its Workspace suite of applications, and the latest improvement is a seamless collaboration between Google Meet and the Gmail App.

As part of a Gmail redesign set to roll out in the coming weeks, users will be able to ring another user on Google Meet directly from within the Gmail App. Additionally, Gmail users will be able to join Google Meet meetings, further blurring the lines between email, chat, and video conferencing.

Google's Workspace suite has undergone significant changes since its rebranding from G Suite in late 2020. The suite has received regular updates, including enhancements to Google Docs, Calendar, and Google Drive. The ultimate goal is to create a seamless experience across all apps, allowing users to easily switch between them and share information.

With the addition of voice and video calling capabilities, Gmail is poised to become an even more essential communication hub, rivaling Microsoft Outlook. The Google Meet application will not only be used for creating meetings but also for making phone calls in the future.

As Google continues to expand its digital workspace, the ease of use and integration of its services are becoming increasingly appealing features. The company's ambition to meet the evolving needs of its users is evident in its ongoing rollout of innovative features.
