Radio presenter Jalang'o's foray into chicken farming was a costly mistake. In 2020, he revealed that he had shifted from chicken farming to selling eggs after his business failed.

According to Jalang'o, he and his partners ventured into chicken farming without any knowledge or experience, setting them up for failure. The situation was further complicated by workers who embezzled funds meant for chicken feeds.

Despite the challenges, Jalang'o found success in other areas, particularly in multimedia marketing. His YouTube channel is one of the highest-earning channels in Kenya, with the comedian earning up to Sh. 4 million per month from his YouTube and Instagram platforms.

Published on February 2020, Jalang'o's comments on his failed chicken farming business serve as a cautionary tale for aspiring entrepreneurs.
