Kenya Police and Vihiga United played out a thrilling 1-1 draw in the first leg of their FKF Premier League/National Super League promotion/relegation playoff match on September 12, 2021, at the Mumias Sports Complex.
Clinton Kinanga gave Kenya Police the lead in the 9th minute, but Lesley Otieno equalised for Vihiga United, securing a 1-1 halftime score.
The second half saw both teams push for a winner, but the match ended in a stalemate, with the final score remaining 1-1.
The second leg of the playoff will be played on September 19, 2021, at the Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi, where Kenya Police will host Vihiga United.
