On September 11, 2021, the Kenya International Championships at the Nairobi Polo Club witnessed a thrilling competition among Samurai, CMC Motors, and TML. The three teams were neck and neck in the chase for top honours, with each having won their respective knockout matches.
Samurai stood out as the only unbeaten side in the tournament, with a convincing 5-2 win over Tusker Malt Lager. CMC Motors also secured a 5-3 victory over MICT, while TML picked up a 6-4.5 win over Tusker Malt Lager, having been voted the best loser.
The Tusker Malt Lager team, comprising Kenya internationals Jules Camm, Izzy Parsons, Harry Griffiths, and Fredd Kambo, was a joy to watch in their matches, despite their losses.
With all knockout matches played, Samurai emerged as the favourites to win the tournament.
