On September 11, 2021, Members of Parliament intervened in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) dispute, summoning the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) to address concerns over its implementation.
The move comes after the KICD complained of law suit threats and other challenges hindering the rollout of the new curriculum.
