On September 9, 2021, Vihiga Queens secured a 2-1 victory over Ethiopia's CBE FC at MISC Kasarani, earning them the CAF Women Champions League CECAFA qualifiers title.
With this win, Vihiga Queens will represent East and Central Africa at the inaugural CAF Women Champions League in Cairo, Egypt.
