Published on September 10, 2021, TechMoran reported that Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra would not live up to the high expectations of camera enthusiasts. The phone's camera department is not seeing any major changes, with the 108MP sensor being used instead of the previously announced 200MP sensor.

The South Korean manufacturer has officially announced the specifications of the S22 series, and mass production is set to begin in November. The first market launch is expected to be announced in January next year.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup with optical image stabilization (OIS) for the ultra-wide-angle and main angle cameras. The front camera will have a 40MP sensor. The phone's camera capabilities are a significant downgrade from what was previously expected.

Additionally, the Galaxy Note series is also facing an uncertain future. Samsung has not renewed its trademarks rights for the series of smartphones, and the chances of the S pen coming with the Galaxy S22 Ultra are slim. This suggests that the manufacturer is not planning to renew the Note series for the coming year.
