Samson Jonyo Muga, 40, took his own life on Valentine's Day in 2019, using a rope to hang himself in his Ruaka apartment.
Four months have passed since his death, and his body remains at Lee Funeral Home, decomposing and unable to undergo further embalming.
Despite pleas from relatives and friends, Ongalo has refused to bury his son, citing a bizarre excuse that he wants to build a rural home before doing so.
However, Ongalo, who hails from Kadem, Nyatike Constituency, Migori County, has not built a rural home in decades, with his last visit to the village dating back to the 1990s.
This strange behavior has put Ongalo at loggerheads with Samson's relatives and close friends, who are left to wonder why he is refusing to bury his son.
