On Thursday afternoon, a mechanic found himself in a difficult situation after crashing a customer's Toyota Landcruiser V8 during a test drive.
According to sources, the mechanic had just completed repairs on the vehicle and decided to take it for a spin, rather than waiting for the owner to collect it.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Forest Road and Prof Wangari Mathai Road in Nairobi, attracting a large crowd of onlookers.
The mechanic lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into several cabs and a wall. Fortunately, he was not injured in the accident.
This incident is not an isolated case, as there have been previous instances of car wash employees and mechanics causing accidents with customer vehicles.
One such incident occurred last year in Nanyuki, where a car wash employee crashed a Toyota Prado into a ditch.
