Gospel singer Pitson, whose real name is Peterson Ngetha, has made a shocking confession about his past life. In a recent interview, Pitson revealed that he made and wasted millions of shillings.
Published on September 9, 2021, Pitson's interview with Robert Burale on 'Oh Men!' exposed his dark secrets. The singer, who gained regional popularity with his hit song Lingala ya Yesu, said he earned millions from his songs and music shows, as well as his banking career.
However, Pitson's success came with a price. He got into extramarital arrangements with multiple church women in Kinoo, where he would pay their rent in exchange for sex. This was a new thrill for the singer, who had grown up as a pastor's child.
"I was in this group where the mantra was 'Purity is Power'. While we're together, we had an unwritten agreement not to have sex with our girlfriends," Pitson narrated. However, he later broke this agreement and started having sex with multiple women.
With his newfound wealth, Pitson turned to sex as a way to spend his money. "I was making a lot of cash and I was just paying Sh. 22,000 as rent in Kinoo. Money is like a servant, so if you don't give it work, it will introduce mischief," he said.
However, Pitson's wife, Carol, found out about his infidelity and left him. Pitson's parents had to intervene, promising that their son would behave. Pitson became wiser in hiding his escapades, but his wife found out again and left him once more.
