Naivas has taken a significant step in the retail sector by partnering with Jumia, the e-commerce platform, to enable online shopping for its customers.
On September 6, 2021, the partnership was announced, marking a new era in the way consumers shop for their daily household needs.
The partnership will initially be available at Naivas Food Market at Prestige Plaza along Ngong road, before rolling out to other outlets nationwide.
Consumers in the Ngong Road, Community Area, Hurlingham, Mbagathi, Kileleshwa, and Lavington areas will now be able to order a wide range of products on Jumia Food, saving them time and money.
According to Willy Kimani, Naivas' Chief Commercial Officer, the move is aimed at providing a mobile experience that minimizes customers' trips to the stores.
"The development is an important step towards realizing Naivas' mission and especially with the changing environment in the retail sector as shoppers now want to make fewer trips to the stores and our aim is to serve Kenyans at every possible opportunity," he said.
