Ngirici and her husband Andrew Ngirici celebrated their daughter Tanya's 21st birthday with a big party and a memorable gift - a brand new Mercedes Benz, KDD 129T, with zero mileage.
According to reports, the couple spent Ksh5 million to get the ride for the young woman.
Ngirici tricked Tanya into believing the car was a simple gift, saying, "I have a drink for you and I want to share it with you. I hope when you grow up you will be able to buy the same drink for me."
When Tanya's face was uncovered, she was surprised to see the 'drink' was actually a Mercedes Benz.
She screamed in joy as Ngirici handed her the car keys.
"Tanya my daughter, you are a blessing in our lives. You make me proud as a mother. You are our pride. Happy birthday," Ngirici said.
The expensive gift has been the talk of social media, with some netizens arguing that it was hypocritical of the lawmaker and her colleagues to market a wheelbarrow as the tool for a graduate yet their sons and daughters are swimming in money.
However, others did not see anything wrong with parents giving their children the best in life.
