Published on September 3, 2021, a video clip taken by a resident in Kinoo, Kiambu County, went viral on social media, showing a building teetering on the edge of collapse.
The six-storey building, located near Kinoo shopping centre, was seen sinking into the ground, sparking panic among residents.
According to Kiambu police boss Ali Nuno, no construction workers were trapped in the building at the time of the incident.
"The building is sinking. No one was inside at the time," Nuno told nation.africa.
Despite the building not having collapsed, residents fear it could soon do so, prompting authorities to caution them.
