On September 2, 2021, Samsung Electronics East Africa hosted a virtual forum to educate customers on their new range of AI-centered consumer electronics.

The forum, led by Samsung Electronics East Africa Head of Consumer Electronics Division Mr. Sam Odhiambo, was broadcasted from the Samsutech Samsung shop at the Mirage Tower on Waiyaki Way.

Mr. Odhiambo emphasized the importance of educating customers on the benefits of each feature of the new electronics, stating, 'In the past we always talked about Artificial Intelligence being the future of consumer electronics. At Samsung the future is now.'

The new range of electronics included the Neo QLED 8K and 4K Series TV, AI-enabled washing machines, and Bespoke fridges. The Neo QLED TV, available in 4K and 8K options, has received attention globally and locally for its high picture quality, with prices ranging from 209,000 to 729,000 Kenya Shillings.

The AI-enabled washing machines, which range from 82,000 to 198,000 Kenya Shillings, feature Samsung Eco Bubble technology, which turns detergent into bubbles for efficient cleaning.
