Comedian and media personality Jalang'o has been at the center of a storm after being linked to fraud allegations through popular blogger Edgar Obare's page.
According to Obare and his followers, Jalang'o was among those involved in the 'wash wash' business, which has implicated several immigration officials, media personalities, police officers, and flamboyant businessmen and bank officials.
His luxurious lifestyle, which includes owning a Toyota V8, Range Rover Velar, Mercedes convertible, Mercedes V-Class, and a Land Rover Discovery, was put under scrutiny, with some questioning how he acquired his wealth.
However, Jalang'o refuted the claims, swearing on his father's grave that he has never been involved in fraudulent deals or stolen from anyone.
Colleagues Come to His Defense ¶
His colleagues, including Kamene Goro and detective Jane Mugo, have come to his defense, claiming that he is a hard worker and not a thief.
Speaking on Kiss FM, Kamene Goro and Jane Mugo commented on Jalang'o's video, with Mugo writing, 'I have been a victim of false accusations, it pains me. Jalas is an intelligent, hardworking, and generous man. I have personally worked with him. Jealousy will never win.'
