On Saturday morning, a 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old man he found in bed with his wife in Kagoto area, Nakuru County.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the incident occurred at 3am when the suspect, Micah Nyaberi, returned home unannounced and found the victim, Bonface Maina Njagi, relaxing with his wife, Harriet Vivian Mboga.
Neighbours alerted police officers who found Njagi's body lying by the gate in a pool of blood. The suspect and his wife were arrested and handed over to DCI Nakuru North detectives for further investigations.
Crime scene detectives documented spattered blood on the walls and house items in the suspect's house.
