On Saturday morning, a 39-year-old man was arrested after stabbing to death a 34-year-old man he found in his house with his wife in Kagoto area, Nakuru County.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), the incident occurred at 3am when the suspect, Micah Nyaberi, returned home unannounced and found the victim, Bonface Maina Njagi, relaxing with his wife, Harriet Vivian Mboga.
Neighbours alerted police officers who found Njagi's body lying by the gate in a pool of blood. The suspect's house was found to have spattered blood on the walls and house items, which was documented by crime scene detectives.
Nyaberi and his wife were arrested and handed over to DCI Nakuru North detectives for further investigations.
