On May 5, 2017, Mary Irungu, popularly known as Maryaprude, married TV host Willis Raburu in a union that lasted nearly two years before ending in divorce in early 2020.
According to a recent interview with Word Is, Maryaprude revealed that she had been pregnant twice during her marriage to Raburu, including a miscarriage in 2018.
Speaking candidly, Maryaprude shared, 'What people don't know is that I had lost another pregnancy in 2018 at nine weeks then. In 2019, I got pregnant with baby Adana,'
She also opened up about the pressure to conceive, stating, 'It was really tough for us since we were trying to get a child.'
Just a year after their divorce, Raburu welcomed a new baby, sparking speculation about his motivations for wanting a child.
