Airtel Kenya Partners with KAPS for Convenient Parking Payments

On August 25, 2021, Airtel Kenya, a subsidiary of Airtel Africa, announced a partnership with Kenya Airports Parking Services (KAPS) to enable Airtel customers to pay for parking using Airtel Money.

Through this partnership, customers can make KAPS payments by dialing 486# and selecting pay KAPS parking. This service is available at all parking stations that use the KAPS ticketing system, providing a quick, secure, and convenient way to pay using their mobile money wallet.

According to Prasanta Das Sarma, Managing Director of Airtel Kenya, “This partnership provides our customers across the country with convenient access to payment of KAPS parking through our Airtel Money platform.”

Airtel continues to work with instrumental partners such as KAPS to provide its customers with convenience as they go about their daily lives. The company also emphasizes the affordability of its mobile money services, stating that they are very affordable compared to other mobile money services in the country.

Bonnyventure Saronge, Managing Director of Kenya Airports Parking Services, highlighted the importance of adapting to technological reforms and advancements, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. He stated, “The KAPS-Airtel payment solution is one such advancement that will provide our mutual customers who use parking services with a broader range of payment options, enhancing their journey in terms of convenience and fulfillment.”
