On Wednesday last week, singer Dela Maranga, popularly known as Dela, exchanged vows with her partner, Dr Reign, in a civil wedding at Sheria House, Nairobi. The ceremony, which was a private affair, marked the culmination of their relationship, which they had kept under wraps until Valentine's Day.
According to Dela, she chose a civil wedding as a way to save time and avoid the drama and expenses associated with a traditional wedding. 'I think normal weddings have a lot of drama and spending for nothing. I chose something that would make my day special,' she said in an interview.
