Kenya's luxury tourism sector has seen a significant boost with the recent visit of a high-end safari group, dubbed the 'Greatest Safari on Earth'. The 12-day trip, which cost $125,000 per person, aimed to preserve and support Africa's wildlife, wildlife spaces, and communities.

According to CS Balala, the trip was a testament to Kenya's unique and iconic tourism product, the wildebeest Migration at the Maasai Mara, and luxurious accommodation facilities that suit the needs of high-net-worth travelers.

The trip, which was organized by Roar Africa and Emirates Airlines, delivered 15 guests from the United States to four iconic African destinations, including Kenya. The guests experienced the ultimate adventure and encounters with environmental educators and conservation change makers.

Kenya has been prioritizing product diversification to position the country as the go-to destination for all cadres of travelers. The Magical Kenya Signature Experiences program has enhanced the country's diversity in offerings, ranging from adventure, conservation, heritage, cultural immersion, wellness to alternative safaris.

Kenya was ranked as Africa's leading tourist destination by the World Travel Awards (WTA) in 2020, cementing its position as a preferred travel destination to international travelers.

The visit by the travelers comes at a high season for the tourism sector, with the annual Twin Migration (Wildebeest Migration and the Humpback Whale Migration) currently ongoing.
