Trevor Ombija Opens Up About 10-Year Relationship That Ended in Heartbreak

Published on August 24, 2021, Trevor Ombija, a well-known Citizen TV News anchor, has spoken publicly about his dating life for the first time.

According to Ombija, he was in a 10-year relationship that ended with him being rejected after he paid the bride price in 2015.

He revealed to Mpasho that he is currently single and not ready to date, stating that he is working on himself to become a better person.

"I was badly heartbroken," Ombija said. "I am single, not looking. I need to fix myself first. Everybody deserves the best version of the other person. Don't go into a relationship when you are broken."

He shared that the relationship was on and off, and at one point, he tried to force issues in the hopes of rekindling their lost love, but things didn't go as planned.

"I actually took dowry to her home on December 5, 2015, then akaniacha. She said that she needs to find herself," Ombija revealed.

He also shared that he tried to force issues in the relationship, but it ultimately didn't work out.

"Nilijaribu kuforce issues for a while! You know when you are dumped and then you try to insist that you can work it out. Ukiachwa achika. I have accepted and am fixing myself," Ombija said.
