Published on August 20, 2021, gospel musician Betty Bayo has continued to be a good co-parent with her ex-husband, Pastor Victor Kanyari, despite their divorce years ago.
However, their amicable relationship took a turn recently when Pastor Kanyari commented on where his children attend school.
The clergyman claimed that his two children speak impressive and fluent English because they attend one of the best schools in the country, and that he pays Ksh420,000 every term as school fees.
But Betty Bayo laughed off the claims, saying they were outright lies.
“Why is a certain media outlet spreading lies? Did he say he parts with Ksh42,000 as school fees? Verify your information first before publishing,” she wrote on Facebook.
She also refuted claims that the man who recently proposed to her was white, saying, “I have seen the media claim that I’m engaged to a zungu. I wish my bae was online to see that,” the mother of two said.
