A Kenyan woman, Hellen Kemunto Jorgensen, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Maryland, USA.
According to reports, she was hit by a speeding car while crossing an intersection in West Hyattsville, Maryland, on an unspecified date.
Jorgensen, a Home Health Aide, hailed from Kisii County and did not have any relatives in the US. Her three children, Jackie, Dennis, and Aksel, who reside in Denmark, are now seeking financial support to transport her body back to Kenya for burial.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up to raise funds for her funeral expenses, revealing that she had expressed her wish to return to Kenya and spend the rest of her life in Meru.
Her children have shared heartfelt messages on the page, expressing their love and gratitude for the time they had with her.
