A bar brawl in Upper Hill, Nairobi, on January 17, 2021, left a 24-year-old model with a disfigured nose and a doctor with a bleeding forehead.
According to a police report, David Masenge Nyangau, a doctor at the Kenyatta National Hospital, was drinking beer at the Pronto bar and restaurant with his new girlfriend Naomi Natasha and his ex-girlfriend Lucy Wanjiru Kimiti.
Lucy claimed that money was missing from her purse after she had visited David at his house and left her bag, which allegedly contained Ksh30, 000 and her phone.
When she returned to collect the bag, she found David with Naomi, and the two women got into a fight.
Naomi told the court that she was badly injured and is awaiting a second surgery to correct her disfigured nose.
The three were jointly charged with creating a disturbance, but Lucy was charged with an additional file of assaulting Naomi.
