On Tuesday evening, a Migori County man was arrested for allegedly hacking his 10-year-old disabled son to death.
According to reports, the suspect attacked the boy with a machete, resulting in the child's instant death.
Angry residents attempted to lynch the suspect before police intervened and took him into custody at Kehancha Police Station.
County police commander Mark Wanjala stated that investigations into the incident were ongoing, and the motive behind the attack had yet to be established.
“We have launched investigations into the incident,” he said.
